Enchantments, fun and surprises - many magical attractions await you in the Christmas World in the Viennese Christmas dream. It sparkles like a jewel around the Christkindlmarkt and the Small Ice Dream and ensures an unforgettable time young and old.

There are many offers, especially for the youngest visitors, where the childish joys of playing can be enjoyed to their heart’s content. A historic roundabout, a reindeer train, a Ferris wheel and much, much more await the youngest guests.

Price overview for the use of the playing facilities:

Ferris wheel / sleigh ride = 1 trip € 3.- / 4 trips € 10.-
Reindeer train / roundabout / City Hall express = 1 trip € 2.50 / 5 trips € 10.-

For Viennese kindergartens there is a rebate of € 1.- per person and trip

At three stations in the park the Science Pool Club offers tiny scientists exciting actions, that combine knowledge with fun, where they can join in.

The self-made “Rainbow glasses” with the multi-spectral foil show the light at the Christkindlmarkt from its most dazzling side: sparkling, shimmering and wonderfully colourful. “Elsa’s garden” leads onto a beautiful, fairy-tale snow landscape. The crystals that form before the eyes of the researchers are science to go - to take with you. Anyone who feels that there is not enough sparkle can immerse themselves in the science of the legendary Christmas-slimey, and, by stirring in secret ingredients, can prepare a sparkle-slime that also lights up in the dark. In the Christmas world, children can also experiment with dry ice or produce silicate polymer snow, which is fabulously wintry.

For young researchers from the Viennese kindergartens and schools (from 4 years to primary level, programme is adapted to the age group) taking part is free of charge on school-days from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, 10:30 am to 12:00 noon, 1;30 pm to 3:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Registration is required.

From 4:00 pm and on weekends and public holidays the research stations are open for all children above 4 years and families (nor entry for adults without children) against a contribution for expenses of €4.- / per person.
